The Hien Luong – Ben Hai Historic Sites Conservation Zone in Quang Tri Province, with an investment of over 680 million VND, commenced construction in September 2003. However, just over 2 years after construction, the building was severely infested by termites. Another structure in Cao Thuong Village, northern Bac Giang Province, shared the same fate.
