Following the seminar series introducing the new Maxxthor insecticide to the Vietnamese market, the PestMan division of VFC has also conducted on-site hands-on training programs for technicians on proper product application.
The program was organized across most VFC branches in various locations, including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi, and Can Tho...
Maxxthor is a versatile, water-based, odorless pyrethroid insecticide formulation suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Key features of Maxxthor include low toxicity and high efficacy at low dosages, coupled with exceptional residual longevity even under the harshest environmental conditions. The deployment of Maxxthor offers pest control operators a completely new approach to pest prevention and eradication.
To maximize the product's superior characteristics, proper application techniques play a vital role. Therefore, to ensure maximum efficacy and precision, PestMan invited Australian experts to lead the training sessions.
Under the guidance of these Australian specialists, the training on Maxxthor application was conducted in a highly practical and visual manner, detailing target pest harborage identification, treatment height from the ground, spray direction for specific areas, and the appropriate dosage for each application...
The Australian experts also shared crucial insights on effective spraying methods. Maxxthor is engineered to produce ultra-fine spray droplets—approximately 3 microns—which are smaller than those of conventional chemicals on the market, ensuring the solution easily adheres to and remains on the treated surfaces to eradicate target pests. However, the spraying intensity must be maintained at a stable level to ensure uniform coverage across all treatment areas.
If the spraying intensity is too low, the volume of chemical discharged and adhering to the treated surface will be insufficient to eliminate pests; if it is too high, it will cause the chemical to atomize into a vapor and drift away, resulting in product waste.
Armed with useful knowledge and insights from the experts, all PestMan technicians were highly enthusiastic and actively participated in the training.
The program is expected to be rolled out to PestMan’s Maxxthor suppliers upon request.
