According to statistics, each year Vietnam has about 250-500 food poisoning cases with 7,000-10,000 victims and 100 – 200 deaths (Source: FNC). And despite being warned, every time summer comes, the number of food poisoning cases shows signs of continuously increasing. The press media in recent days have continuously reported on many serious collective food poisoning cases.
For example, the case of about 200 workers of Foremart company (Hung Yen) who had to be hospitalized because of stomach aches and nausea due to eating unhygienic food from the company's collective kitchen (11/07). Next, nearly 100 other workers also from KoTop ViNa Co., Ltd (Tam Phuoc industrial park, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai) continued to be poisoned and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment. Most recently (04/08) is the case of 73 people poisoned after eating a wedding party at a restaurant on Chu Văn An street, Đắk Hà town, Đắk Hà district… Even, the number of poisoning cases also appeared at high-end restaurants and resorts, such as the case at a resort in Phan Thiet last late july, making the public feel bewildered. So what is the cause of the above food poisoning cases?

Such as using raw materials contaminated with chemicals, not ensuring quality, improper processing and preservation of food, unclean hand hygiene and kitchen utensils… then seasonal factors like high temperature foundation, alternating sunny and rainy weather, and large air humidity in summer are ideal conditions for microorganisms to develop rapidly, making food easily spoiled and moldy. Especially, summer is known as the season of proliferation and strong development of many pests, including flies – intermediate organisms transmitting dangerous pathogens to humans, namely E. coli – the causative agent of diarrhea, dysentery and food poisoning. Therefore, preventing and controlling flies is one of the important factors contributing to ensuring food safety and hygiene, helping to protect consumers' health while helping producers and businesses – especially units in the fields of food processing, hotels, restaurants… ensure continuous operation, build a civilized and modern image, contributing to improving class and service quality.
Known as a high-quality product of Ensystex group (USA), Vectothor flying insect control light traps have the ability to control and eliminate flies quickly and effectively. Using modern and unique technologies such as UV-A light suitable for the vision of flies, the strongest light intensity, natural light contrast grid helping to increase fly attraction, Vectothor insect control light traps are currently the most effective fly control light traps on the market. Furthermore, using glue traps instead of electric traps helps avoid cases where dead insect carcasses are scattered into the air (potentially causing food contamination) and risks of explosion or electrical short circuits. At the same time, light trap manufacturing materials have natural origins, are less toxic to users and do not cause environmental pollution. In addition, with diverse styles and beautiful designs, Vectothor flying insect control light traps are also very suitable for spaces requiring high aesthetics that conventional insect light traps rarely meet, such as restaurants, hotels, resorts, high-end shops….
