Exterra Termite Interception System

Exterra® termite interception system is a modern termite control system based on the biological principles and behavioral patterns of termites, focusing on complete colony elimination rather than only treating visible termite activity. The system uses bait stations strategically installed around structures or at active termite locations to attract termites to the food source.

When termites enter the station, technicians introduce Requiem bait containing chlorfluazuron as the active ingredient into the system. This active ingredient does not cause immediate mortality, allowing termites to continue their normal activities and carry the bait back to the colony, where it is transferred to other colony members. As chlorfluazuron is an insect growth regulator, termites are unable to molt and gradually die, resulting in complete colony collapse.
