VFC and VINASEED hold seminar on “Pest identification and pest control consultation”

On October 8, 2022, in Ha Nam, Vietnam Seed Group Joint Stock Company (Vinaseed) and Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Company (VFC) organized a seminar on “Insect Identification and Pest Control for Stored Agricultural Products.”

Attending the seminar on behalf of Vinaseed were Mr. Duong Quang Sau – Deputy General Director of Vinaseed, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duc – Director of the Quality Management Department, along with 35 participants including members of the Board of Directors, the Quality Management Department, warehouse managers from various processing plants, and representatives from 6 subsidiary units tuning in online.

Representing VFC were Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tu – Head of the Technical Fumigation Department, Mr. Ngo Trong Duc – Sales Executive from the Northern Branch, and Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh and Mr. Pham Van Thin – Fumigation Technical Officers.

At the seminar, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tu (H.N. Tu), on behalf of the technical team, gave a presentation on common warehouse-dwelling insects, covering their specific species, core biological characteristics, and life cycles, alongside various pest control strategies for stored agricultural products. The seminar sparked lively discussions as members from both companies exchanged insights on their current operational practices. Vinaseed representatives also brought forward practical challenges they face on-site. Leveraging their extensive field experience, the VFC technical team addressed each query and provided actionable solutions to resolve these bottlenecks.
